System Vocabulary
1.central processing unit-the part of the computer that executes instruction,controls the flow of data,and performs the arithmetic and logic decisions.
2.expansion slots-a part of the motherboard that allows the connection of circuit boards.
3.flash memory-a type of removable memory commonly used in small hand-held devices,such as cell phones,digital cameras,and digital music players.
4.graphical user interface-a desingn for the part of an operating system imn which the user typically.
5.hard drive-a nonremovable storage device used to hold software and data on a computer system.
6.hardware-the physicalparts of a computer system including input.
7.input device-any device that accepts data from the user,such as a keyboard or mouse.
8.linux-an operatingsystem based on unix that permits any programmer to improve upon it and is available as freeware.

1.Animated object - an object such as picture, text box, or other graphic that appears by itself during a Power Piont presentation. compare with animated text. See also animation.

-splitter bars- in power point one of the narrow bars that separate the left,slide, and notes panes in normal view.
-title slide- the first slide in a presentation.

-placeholder- is a preset location reserving space for a slide element.
